Today may 20th sGs played in the open-cup premier league against 1stCav. Knowing first 1stcav we knew we where in for a hard match, we chose Sewer as our map and started on offence. Cause of exams we couldnt have Apoc_warlord playing and cause of holliday our best fragger LemmiWinks couldnt play. So the lineup resulted in Zorken, DaWofl(ME), Zernok, Ipe, Aleborg and Asset. Things worked out pretty good although we got delayed by the desecrator, we did manage to finish the map in about 10 minutes but we started out a bit nervous. On defence we thought we could hold them of but they managed the build pretty fast, cause of a lack of communication we forgot to get inside fast and we got overrun. They managed to hack in about 8-9 minutes and we lost our own map :( On the 2nd map we played Refinery cause this was 1stCavs map we started on defence, tnx to True_terror we warmed up on this map and worked out some decent tactics and those payed off. Me personally spend alsmost 20 minutes in a hog being a total bitch ;) while Aleborg was raining his Plasma's of fury down upon them. After they deployed the MCP Zorken stepped inside the cyclops and switched to uber-mode and 0wned the sjeiz out of them while Zernok disabled every incoming vehicle so i could ram it! |

April 10th we fought A.Toon for our 2nd cup fight. We prepared wel for this fight and we a strong team ready to fight, the maps we played where Ark and Volcano. We practiced Ark a lot for the previous match against Dead Sniper so we felt convident and that showed of in the game. We started on offence and lemmi and Ipe went for a quikplant rush with the Hog and they did an awesome job! we blew up the generator in less then 2 minutes! Next stop mining laser! We just lemming build it while Zorken was keeping them busy with the cyclops and we moved on to the Bioscanner. Lemmi Ninja sneaked in and made plant they managed to disarm but meanwhile they couldnt defend the forwad spawn and I was able to take it. Relativly quik we managed to get a 2nd plant and we kept them of from disarming it! |

Today april 7th for the first time in sGs history we won a cup war! sGs is playing in the clanbase cup (group D) and we our first oponent where our good old training buddy's Morthus. The maps we had to play where Sewer and Salvage. On sewer Zorken started out in the cyclops and we set up our turrets and defence, after bringing down the first rush from Morthus we held the first objective nicely. Zernok was disabling every vehicle incoming and Apoc was going berserk with his plasma. If somehow they managed to get through they met Zorken and his Cyclops for a nice surpris. After the smoke cleared and they body's where disposed we had a full hold! |
